Foreign Policy for America 2026 Leadership Summit

The impacts from the unauthorized war with Iran go well beyond high oil prices. From fertilizer and food supplies to medical equipment and semiconductor chips, the ongoing conflict is creating shortages across critical industries and driving up costs for American families, farmers, and businesses. At the same time, the administration’s military operations have cost billions while failing to achieve any meaningful objectives. And despite the unpopularity of this conflict, Congress has failed to step up and reassert its role in authorizing war.
